Wesley's Chapel
John Wesley's Tallboy
Set of six large drawers on short sturdy legs

This was used to store linen and clothes. There is a useful shelf in the middle, which can be pulled out to accommodate items from the drawers. This was called the 'brushing shelf' – clothes were not hung in wardrobes but were brushed after being removed from the drawers where they were folded.
