Wesley's Chapel
Communion Table
Wooden communion table

The communion table is one of the original furnishings from when John Wesley opened the Chapel on All Souls Day (1st November) in 1778. It is made of richly coloured mahogany wood. The table actually sits inside a wooden screen that was donated by Methodists in the Isle of Man. The table is of a very plain Georgian design. The wooden screen is more ornate, incorporating a pattern based on the runic cross at Kirk Braddon.
