The Foundery Chapel is named in honour of John Wesley’s first London chapel, the Foundery (a disused cannon foundry which was a short distance from the present site.) The benches in this small chapel are the original benches that were used in the Foundery. This chapel also contains Charles Wesley’s single manual pipe organ, which is still in use today.
