Straddle Chair
The chair back has a u-shaped rest at shoulder height and an extra wooden panel for papers.

Also known as the Cockfighter's chair, this chair can be used normally or straddled and books or paper placed on the wooden rest.

It was said to have been given to John Wesley in gratitude by a cock-fighting book-maker.
